Since 2023, Bob - or Thai Binh Duong as stated in his passport - has been in charge of Vietnam à la carte. Enthusiastic and never shy about having a chat with our guests, he brings a breath of fresh air to our family business. Because he does not only want to pursue a sedentary profession, he also regularly serves as a guide on day excursions. You can contact him by sending an email to bob@vietnamcarte.nl
In the millennium year - which is almost a quarter of a century ago - Dutch-born Cees was the founder of Vietnam à la carte. He recently decided to take a step back: initially a big step, but later a small step, because he still couldn't do his job completely - and especially the contact with our customers. You can contact him by sending an email to cees@vietnamcarte.nl
At home - and therefore in our family guesthouse - Thai is at her best. As hostess, she welcomes our travelers with her infectious enthusiasm and smile. In addition to being responsible for the family guesthouse, she prepares delicious traditional dishes. You can contact her by sending an email to thai@vietnamcarte.nl
Hung is not only a great guide, but also a gifted football player. And he prefers to combine both: if possible, he forms a "Western" team of guests that takes on the Vietnamese enemy on the green turf. It is clear: if you are traveling with your family, you will hardly find a better guide than Hung.
Quân is a born and raised Hanoian and is 45 years old, half of which he works as a guide. His work is - and it could hardly be otherwise - his hobby. He is a great storyteller, preferably while enjoying a glass of bia hoi (fresh beer).
Although he is officially a freelancer, Hai works practically full time as a guide in Vietnam's à la carte service. With his infectious enthusiasm and his enormous knowledge of Vietnam and its inhabitants, he has quickly become a support and support for our organization and its guests.
Duong is a busy man: not only is he one of our regular drivers, he also owns a large number of buses and vans and manages a small army of other drivers. We always look forward to his coming to our office on Tet (Vietnamese New Year): he always arrives with a delicious box of wine...
Although he likes to be called a Max (yes, yes, Dutch Max), our regular driver Thang is calm and always guides our guests through the often hectic Vietnamese traffic without any problems with his sure driving style. And where other cars sometimes falter on a muddy road full of potholes, he pulls his car through everything.CONTACT US
