Upon arrival in Lao Cai you meet your tour guide. Together with him you plan a route for a walk in the Sapa area. Especially those who want to embark on a longer and more challenging trekking-route will quickly find themselves in a different world, where time seems to stand still. You'll meet colorful ethnic minorities, including the Red Dzao, H'mong, and Day.
You will depart on a smaller boat to Lan Ha Bay, where you can kayak and swim. Lunch will be served on board, and in the afternoon, there is more opportunity to explore this bay. At the end of the afternoon, you will return to the 'mother ship' where you will spend the night again.
At 9 am you will depart from your hotel to the stunning Paradise Cave - Asia's longest dry cave. After lunch it takes about an hour to reach Phong Nha Cave by car and boat. You'll wander around here for a few before returning to your hotel.
